The Land Registry fee quoted is for a 100% fee. In the majority of cases the fee will be 50% of the fee quoted. Cases subject to the 100% fee will include purchases from developers of new property and purchases where the Seller’s title is not already registered at Land Registry.
Stamp duty is calculated at standard residential rates, and excluding any liability for the 3% higher rate/surcharge.
Property in Wales are subject to a different tax/rates.
